These Terms & Conditions govern the use of Side Quest's services, including our Art Café activities, workshops, private events, website, and related services.

By making a booking, attending an activity, or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Bookings

All bookings are subject to availability.

A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of confirmation from Side Quest.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or amend bookings where necessary, including in circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

2. Payments

Prices are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless otherwise specified.

Payment terms, deposits, and deadlines will be communicated during the booking process.

Prices may be revised at any time, although paid bookings (including event bookings of which the 50% deposit has been paid) will not be affected.

3. Participation and Personal Belongings

Our activities are designed to be beginner-friendly and suitable for a wide range of ages and skill levels.

Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by a responsible adult unless otherwise agreed (e.g. for party bookings, where drop-off is encouraged).

Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, other guests, and studio property.

Side Quest reserves the right to refuse participation or ask any participant to leave if their behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, abusive, or inappropriate.

Participants are responsible for their own belongings.

Side Quest shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property while on the premises.

4. Artworks and Materials

Participants are responsible for using studio materials and equipment with reasonable care.

While our team may provide guidance and suggestions, artistic results will vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Side Quest reserves the right to charge for deliberate or negligent damage to studio property, equipment, or furnishings.

5. Art Cafe Sessions

Art Café activities are generally self-guided unless otherwise stated.

Session durations are provided as a guide and may vary depending on individual pace and studio operations. Extension beyond the stated session duration is chargeable at $5/30 minutes, subject to availability of seats.

All guests attending the studio will be required to purchase an activity except an adult accompanying a child below 5 years old / with special needs, or unless otherwise agreed.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that selected activities are suitable for their age and abilities.

6. Private Event Bookings

The event organiser is responsible for providing accurate information regarding guest numbers, event timing, and any special requirements. A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total booking fee is required to secure the event date and time. Requests to reschedule an event are subject to availability and approval by Side Quest. While we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, approval cannot be guaranteed.

To ensure sufficient space and materials for all guests, please inform us in advance if additional adults plan to attend the event (chargeable at $10 / pax).

The birthday celebrant and immediate family may arrive up to 15 minutes before the event start time for setup. While our team may be able to assist with simple decorations where possible, our priority will be preparing materials and the studio to ensure the event starts on time.

Outside food and drinks are permitted. However, event organisers remain responsible for all food brought onto the premises and Side Quest staff are unable to handle any food or beverages for hygiene and safety concerns. Additionally, Side Quest is not liable for any food-related issues, including allergies, spoilage, or food safety concerns.

For safety reasons, candles, sparklers, and other open flames are not permitted within the studio.

Any external decorations, vendors, or entertainment services must be approved by Side Quest in advance.

Event organisers are responsible for ensuring that their guests and vendors comply with venue rules.

7. Photography and Marketing

Side Quest may occasionally photograph or record activities, artworks, studio spaces, and events for marketing, promotional, website, and social media purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, please inform us before the start of your session or event and we will make arrangements to opt you out.

8. Liability

Participation in creative activities involves the use of paints, tools, art materials, and equipment.

Participants are responsible for following any instructions provided by Side Quest staff and for exercising reasonable care during activities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Side Quest shall not be liable for any injury, loss, damage, expense, delay, or inconvenience arising from participation in our activities, attendance at our premises, or use of our services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes to Terms

Side Quest may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

Any updated version will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication unless otherwise stated.
